Yet, when he entrusted his hard-earned funds to the local agents of the Gazprombank monopoly on the 8th of November, the machinery of the bourgeoisie failed him. Through sheer negligence and the typical indifference of the money-lenders, the transfer vanished into the ether of bureaucratic incompetence!

The resulting misery for the worker was profound: he found himself besieged by losses amounting to 90,000 rubles in agency fees, a crushing penalty of 165,800 rubles, and the fickle cruelty of exchange rate fluctuations costing another 124,000 rubles. Is this not the very essence of the yoke under which the proletariat must labour? The bank, safe in its ivory tower, cared naught for the distress of the individual.
