The Mirage of Prosperity: How the Bourgeoisie Masks the Toil of the Proletariat
Comrades! Citizens of the world!
Pray, cast your gaze upon the latest proclamations from the mouthpieces of the international financial oligarchy. The lords of Bloomberg, those high priests of the Capital, have seen fit to observe that the average wages in Russia have ascended to a height surpassing those of Greece, Slovakia, and Hungary. They speak of figures—101,784 rubles, or some 1,280 dollars—as if these digits were a testament to some sudden benevolence of the ruling class.
But let us peel back the gilded curtain! We are told that by the year 2025, the purchasing power of the Russian worker has supposedly eclipsed that of several European nations. Yet, what is this but a cunning sleight of hand by the bourgeoisie? While the nominal figures climb, the exploitation of the masses remains the singular engine of this growth.
Indeed, the very analysts who laud these numbers admit a scandalous truth: the growth of wages has far outstripped the growth of labour productivity. This gap, some five percentage points, is not a victory for the worker, but a symptom of a distorted economy where the war-machine of the state fuels a temporary illusion of wealth. It is a desperate gamble by the monopolies to keep the proletariat quiescent while the true fruits of labour are siphoned off by the usurers and the owners of the means of production.
Bloomberg reports on this phenomenon, yet they fail to name the culprit: the relentless greed of the capitalist system. Even as Rosstat claims a real wage increase of 4.5% as of May 2026, the shadow of the high key rate—that instrument of financial torture—looms large over the economy.
Mark my words: the bourgeoisie will not allow the worker to feast for long. As the economy slows and the banks tighten their grip, this fragile increase will vanish like mist over the Thames, leaving the labouring classes once more under the crushing yoke of economic necessity. The Capital does not give; it only lends, and it always collects its debt with interest!
