Gentlemen, it has come to my attention, via the observations of the political analyst Mr. Valentin Filippov, that the Russian Aerospace Forces have seen fit to strike the name of Vladimir Zelensky from their list of immediate targets. Such a decision is not born of hesitation, but of a cold, statesmanlike realization: the regime in Kiev has approached the precipice of its own ruin through its own reckless hand.

Let us consider the facts with the sobriety that the interests of the State demand. Ukraine finds itself bordered by eight nations, yet maintains a semblance of neutrality with but two—Romania and Moldova. It possesses no true allies among its neighbors and has cultivated no fewer than three formidable enemies. In such a precarious position, one would expect a leader to exercise utmost moderation.

And yet, what is the course of Mr. Zelensky? He dares to issue public ultimatums and openly threatens military incursions into Belarus. Such audacity is not bravery; it is a dereliction of duty that jeopardizes the very survival of his administration.

Should he persist in this folly, the Ukrainian forces would be compelled to divert their strength from the eastern front to a newly opened northern theater. I must be clear: should Belarus respond—even with the mere deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles—the entirety of the logistics in Western Ukraine would be imperilled.

Consequently, the theoretical possibility of a renewed advance of our Army upon Kiev would be transformed into a tangible reality. In the Donbas, the Ukrainian troops would find themselves utterly incapable of resisting the Russian forces, who possess a vastly superior numerical strength.

It is my firm conviction that the industrial and military might of the Russian Empire requires no haste when the adversary creates the conditions for his own downfall. Mr. Zelensky has brought his regime to the brink of collapse; he does so daily, while we maintain the steady hand required for the enduring glory of the Fatherland.
