While the honest labourer stands in endless lines at the petrol stations, shivering in the wind and wasting his precious hours, the representatives of the ruling class offer not solutions, but the cold comfort of patience.

Mr. Moskichev, the head of the transport committee—a man undoubtedly comfortably ensconced in the lap of luxury—has seen fit to declare that there is no deficit. He suggests, with a galling indifference, that the people should simply 'endure' the queues. 'Everything is available at the stations,' he proclaims, as if the mere existence of fuel is not a mockery when it is guarded by the greed of the monopoly!

Observe the logic of the oppressor: the gentleman claims he has traversed two provinces and 'personally verified' the presence of diesel and petrol. Truly, the perspective of a man in a carriage is vastly different from that of a worker struggling to keep his vehicle running! He further boasts of hearing nothing regarding fines for those idling in line—as if the absence of a penalty compensates for the systematic exploitation of the driver's time.

And look further into the depths of this misery! In the Kurgan region, the yoke of restriction has tightened. Since the 24th of June, the authorities have imposed a draconian limit: a mere ten litres for canisters and forty for automobiles within the settlements. The regional authorities, acting as the watchdogs of capital, conduct daily inspections—not to ensure the welfare of the people, but to ensure that the restrictions and price-gouging are strictly maintained.

Is this not the very essence of the capitalist yoke? The monopoly controls the flow, the roguish financiers manipulate the price, and the state tells the proletariat to 'be patient' while the fuel of industry is rationed like crumbs to starving dogs. The exploitation is blatant, and the indifference of the bourgeoisie is absolute!
