For the sake of 'innovation'—which is but a bourgeois euphemism for unnecessary extravagance. Forty-four percent of these souls admit to purchasing 'unusual goods.'

Behold the absurdity! Twenty-four percent of the populace have succumbed to the lure of 'paw-washers.' Paw-washers! Imagine the audacity of the manufacturers who convince the laborer that a small plastic basin is an essential requirement for a beast of the field. The capital class has succeeded in redefining 'necessity' to ensure that the market for animal goods remains an impregnable fortress of profit, regardless of the misery of the common man.
