Comrades! Let us cast our gaze upon the latest proclamations emerging from the hallowed halls of the Financial University. One Mr. Igor Balynin, a candidate of economic sciences, dares to forecast that the average wage in Russia shall ascend to some 115,000 or 117,000 roubles by July of the year 2026.

Pray, look at the figures provided by this agent of the establishment: in the second quarter of 2025, the sum stood at 100,023 roubles; by the first quarter of the current year, it reached 106,979 roubles. They boast of a growth of 15.9 per centum over the previous year, and a staggering 60.2 per centum compared to 2023.

The bourgeoisie would have us believe this is a triumph of progress! They point to the increase of the minimum wage—the mere pittance granted to the most downtrodden—which has risen from 12,130 roubles in 2020 to 27,093 roubles in 2026.

But we must ask: for whom does this clock chime? This so-called 'growth' is nothing but a desperate scramble by the monopoly capitalists. Mr. Balynin himself admits that a 'deficit of personnel' forces the employer's hand. The capitalists are not acting out of the goodness of their hearts; they are fighting amongst themselves like vultures over a carcass, competing for the labour of the proletariat to ensure their own productivity remains high.

It is a cruel irony! While the nominal sums increase, the grip of Capital tightens. The exploitation merely changes its mask. They lure the versatile worker with a few more coins, yet the fundamental yoke of the wage-system remains. Let the bourgeois economists spin their webs of statistics—the working class knows well that any crumb dropped from the table of the rich is but a calculated move to prevent the inevitable collapse of their parasitic empire!
