A Mere Crumbs of Mercy: The Usurers’ New Ruse for the Burdened Family

Comrades! Citizens! Pray, cast your gaze upon the latest decree from the halls of power. We are told that from the first of September, 2026, families blessed with a second child shall find some 'relief' from the suffocating grip of their mortgage debts. Mr. Igor Igoshin, a functionary of the State, proclaims that those with infants under eighteen months may now petition the banks for a 'grace period.'

Let us examine this 'mercy' with a cold, analytical eye. For the first six months, the borrower is freed from payments. Yet, from the seventh month onward, the usurers continue to accrue interest—interest that must be paid in full once the reprieve ends! Do you see the trap? The bourgeoisie does not forgive a single farthing; they merely defer the torment, ensuring that the yoke of debt remains firmly fastened around the neck of the labouring class.

It is a cruel irony that this law extends even to those already ensnared by loans. Previously, one had to prove a calamitous drop in income—a reduction of twenty per cent—to earn a mere six months of respite. Now, they offer a longer leash, but the master remains the same: the relentless Financial Capital.

While the State paints this as an act of benevolence, we must ask: why is the proletariat forced into such wretched dependence upon the banks to begin with? This is not philanthropy; it is a strategic concession to prevent the utter collapse of the masses under the weight of exploitation. The monopolies continue to feast, while the working man is granted a few months of breath before the crushing tide of interest returns to drown him once more!
