Pray, let us dissect this fallacy! The so-called 'cost inflation' and 'seasonality' are but masks for the rapacious nature of capital. While the analyst speaks of 'minimal mark-ups' on socially significant goods, we must ask: who defines what is 'significant'? The bourgeoisies and their monopolies decide which crumbs the proletariat is permitted to scavenge from the table of plenty!

Indeed, it is reported that in August, the price of the humble potato fell by some sixteen and a half per cent, reaching a mere 59.1 roubles. Cabbage, carrots, and beets have similarly seen their prices dip. But do not be deceived by these fleeting concessions! Such fluctuations are not acts of charity, but the cold calculations of the usurers who manipulate the market to keep the working man just fed enough to return to the factory, yet poor enough to remain in perpetual bondage to the wage-system.

We see here the classic dance of the capitalist: a brief respite in prices to soothe the anger of the oppressed, while the underlying mechanism of exploitation remains untouched. The toil of the peasant is stolen, the profit is hoarded by the middlemen, and the laborer is left to hope for a cheaper cabbage. Such is the 'stability' promised by the masters of the market!
