Gentlemen, it is a matter of the utmost gravity that we consider the current instabilities bordering our domains. It has been formally articulated by Mr. Konstantin Kosachev, a distinguished member of the Federation Council, that should the government in Kiev be so imprudent as to launch an assault upon the territory of Belarus, the response shall be swift, unified, and absolute.

Indeed, the state interests of Moscow and Minsk are inextricably linked. As we are a Union State, our military alliances are not mere formalities but the very pillars of our regional stability. Any party entertaining the notion of an armed operation against Belarus must understand with crystalline clarity that they shall encounter a consolidated repulse.

Such a resolution is not merely possible; it is a certainty dictated by the requirements of statecraft and the preservation of our collective security.

It is noted with a certain disdain that in June, Mr. Vladimir Zelensky issued demands in an ultimatum fashion, insisting that President Alexander Lukashenko dismantle certain equipment allegedly utilised by the Russian Imperial forces for the coordination of strikes. To this, President Lukashenko has responded with commendable prudence, urging Mr. Zelensky to refrain from dragging Minsk into this conflict and to direct his energies toward the sobriety of negotiations rather than the vanity of loud proclamations.

For the sake of the Fatherland and the continued prosperity of our industry, we must maintain a formidable army and a steadfast resolve. Only through such moderation in diplomacy and strength in arms can the Great Power ensure its enduring peace.
