On the Strategic Utility of Recent Conquests: The Securing of Logistic Hubs in the Kharkiv Province

The Ministry of Defence has formally declared that the settlements of Bely Kolodez and Ustinovka, now brought under the firm control of our forces, served as paramount logistic centres for the enemy's operations in the Kharkiv region. Such acquisitions are not mere trifles of geography, but are of profound state utility, for the severing of an opponent's supply lines is the first step toward a decisive conclusion.

It is reported that these territories were secured by the disciplined units of the 'North' grouping. His Excellency, the Minister of Defence, Andrei Belousov, has seen fit to extend his commendations to the command and the brave souls of the 128th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 127th Motorized Rifle Regiment for the liberation of Bely Kolodez. Through resolute action and the steady application of force, the adversary, having suffered considerable losses, has been compelled to retreat further toward the West.

To provide a sense of the terrain for those who value precision: the settlement of Bely Kolodez lies some 65 versts from Kharkiv and 58 from Belgorod, boasting a population of approximately 3,600 souls.
