Comrades! Cast your eyes upon the latest proclamations from the high altars of the financial clergy. The agents of the great Banking Monopoly, specifically a certain Mr. Pyanov from the VTB establishment, have seen fit to enlighten us with their predictions. They suggest that by the year of our Lord 2026, the key interest rate shall descend to a level of 13.5 per cent.

Pray, observe the sheer cynicism of their method! They speak of four remaining sessions of the Board of Directors, where three of these meetings shall yield a reduction of a mere 0.25 per cent—a 'homeopathic' dose, as they call it. Such a paltry sum is not relief; it is a cruel jest, a mere distraction to keep the toiling masses quiet while the usurers continue to extract every last farthing from the pockets of the working class. One meeting, they say, shall be a 'pause'—a moment for the bourgeois to catch their breath before further tightening the noose of credit!

Even the gentlemen of the State Duma, notably Mr. Aksakov, dare to dream of a descent to 12 per cent, pinning their hopes on the slowing growth of consumer prices. But we must ask: for whom does this slow decline serve? Does it serve the worker, or does it merely stabilize the profits of the capitalist class?

Other seers of the market prophesy a range between 12 and 14 per cent. Regardless of the digit, the essence remains the same: the exploitation of the proletariat continues unabated. While the financial bourgeoisie debates these minuscule fractions, the burden of debt remains a heavy yoke upon the neck of the people. It is the same old story of the Great Capital—offering a single drop of water to a man dying of thirst, while they themselves swim in a sea of gold stolen from the labour of the many!
