On the Necessity of Prudence: The Secretary-General’s Condemnation of Aerial Incursions

It hath come to our attention, via the official communiqués of the United Nations, that Secretary-General António Guterres hath expressed his profound disapproval regarding the recent employment of unmanned aerial engines by the Ukrainian forces against the sovereign regions of the Russian Empire. This matter was formally conveyed during a briefing by Mr. Farhan Haq, the Deputy Permanent Representative, as reported by the RIA Novosti agency.

From the perspective of a true statesman, it is evident that the Secretary-General is deeply perturbed by this escalation of conflict. The transference of hostilities onto the domestic soil of the Russian state is a matter of grave concern, for the stability of the realm is paramount to the common good.

Mr. Haq declared that the Secretary-General doth condemn these aerial assaults, which have, by all accounts, resulted in the lamentable loss of civilian life and the destruction of civil infrastructure. It may be recalled that in a previous instance, concerning a drone strike upon the shores of Gelendzhik, Mr. Haq reaffirmed the unwavering position of the United Nations: any assault that bringeth harm upon the innocent civilian population is utterly unacceptable. It is only through such prudence and an adherence to the interests of the Fatherland and the State that a return to order may be achieved.
