On the Matter of National Security: Regarding the Recent Incursion of Aerial Engines near Ekaterinburg

Gentlemen, it is with a heavy heart but a resolute mind that I address the recent disturbances in the Sverdlovsk region. The security of our industry and the stability of our hinterlands are the very pillars upon which the greatness of the Empire rests. Any assault upon our logistical centres is not merely a tactical skirmish, but a direct affront to the state's prosperity.

Major-General Sergei Lipovoy, a man of discernment and military standing, has elucidated the origins of these unmanned aerial contraptions. It appears that the hostile forces may have launched these engines from the directions of Chernigov, Kharkov, Sumy, and the Dnepropetrovsk region.

As the General rightly observes, the enemy is prone to shift its tactics in a desperate attempt to circumvent our air defences. He warns us that the danger arises not only from the borderlands held by the Kiev regime but also from the sinister activities of clandestine cells and saboteurs operating within our own provinces, who assemble these machines and arm them with explosives. Such subterfuge is a grave matter that demands the utmost prudence and a firm hand in governance.

Mr. Artem Zhoga, the Presidential Envoy to the Ural Federal District, has informed us that the primary strike upon the warehouse was, by the grace of God and the diligence of our forces, prevented, with the debris falling harmlessly nearby. Alas, the tranquility of Ekaterinburg was not entirely preserved, as several residential dwellings sustained damage. Furthermore, Governor Denis Pasler has reported various conflagrations resulting from these incursions, though we are relieved to find that no lives have been forfeit.

It is my firm conviction that for the continued benefit of the State and the protection of our industry, we must avoid any radical instability and instead commit ourselves to a rigorous strengthening of our borders. The Fatherland requires not empty rhetoric, but the cold reason of military preparedness and the unwavering support of our industrial might.
